Karin De La Fuente, M.S. CCC-SLP

Karin DeLaFuente received her B.A. in 1985 from UTPA and her M.S. in 1988 from UTEP. She is fluent in English, Spanish and German. Her area of interest includes Dysphagia, Cognitive Disorders, Autism, and Voice.
She believes:
" Communication/cognition/eating are essential and make us human and it is a privilege to help. "

Monica Lawler, M.S. CCC-SLP

Monica Lawler graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with her Bachelor of Arts in Education in May of 2000. In May of 2017, she graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She completed her 9 month fellowship and received her certificate of clinical competence in August 2018. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her areas of interest include fostering receptive and expressive language development in children. She enjoys working with all ages and populations and is looking forward to continuing to grow in her field.

Lisa Lozada, M.S.-CFY-SLP

Lisa Lozada graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in December of 2015. She graduated with a Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology May of 2019. Lisa is currently a clinical fellow at the EPSLSE clinic. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Lisa enjoys working with clients of all ages. Special interests include Autism, Aphasia and fostering expressive and receptive language development.

Rosalind Facio, B.A.
SLPA

Rosalind Facio graduated from UTEP in 2013 with a B.A. in Multi-disciplinary Studies. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Her area of interest is developing and improving pragmatic skills with children on the autism spectrum.

Amanda Ramirez, B.A. SLPA

Amanda Ramirez graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology in 2011. She completed her post-bac courses at UTEP in 2013 to become an SLPA. She is currently working towards completing her Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders with emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern New Mexico University. Her areas of interest include Autism, articulation, fluency, and language disorders. She enjoys working with all ages.

Audrey R. Alba, M.S.-CCC-SLP

Audrey Alba graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with her B.A. in 2012. She graduated from UTEP with her Masters in Science May 2015.  She completed her 9-month fellowship and received her certificate of clinical competence June 2016.   Her area of interest includes Autism and Dysphagia and she enjoys working with all ages

Stephany Lopez, M.S.-CCC-SLP

Stephany Lopez graduated from New Mexico State University with her B. A. in 2012 and from the University of Texas at El Paso with her M.S. in 2017. She completed her 9 month fellowship and received her certificate of clinical competence in August 2018. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Her area of interest includes fostering expressive and receptive language development and Dysphagia and enjoys working with all ages. 

Zulema Torres, M.S.-CCC-SLP

Zulema graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Development in May 2015. Then received a Master’s in communication Disorders with a Bilingual concentration in 2017. Area of interests are AAC, Apraxia, Expressive and Receptive language disorders.

She completed her 9-month clinical fellowship and received her certificate of clinical competence in July 2019.  She enjoys working with clients of all ages. 

Veronica Murguia, B.A.
SLPA

Veronica Murguia graduated from Baylor University in 2016 with a B.A in Communication Disorders and a minor in Business Administration. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her area of interest is fostering  expressive and receptive language development and pragmatics in children of all ages. 

Maribel Sanchez-Saldivar
Office Manager

Born and raised in Juarez Mexico. Attended UTEP in Business Administration.

She is fully fluent in Spanish and English. She enjoys talking to people and solving scheduling problems, no challenge is big enough. On her spare time, she likes rappelling, dancing and reading.
